Climate 24- Navigating the Climate Crisis (3rd May 2024 Venue- Bengal School of Technology, Hoogly, West Bengal)
Reflecting on Climate 24: A Day of Action
We're thrilled to share the success of Climate 24, a transformative event dedicated to addressing the urgent issue of climate change. Held in Hooghly, Kolkata, and organized in partnership with the South Asian Climate Change Journalist Forum and Bengal School of Technology, Climate 24 was a powerful platform for dialogue, inspiration, and action.
We were honored to have Padma Shri Dukhu Majhi grace the event as our chief guest, inspiring students from over 50 schools and colleges to champion environmental stewardship, particularly through tree plantation initiatives.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in insightful discussions, watched a thought-provoking documentary on climate change, and showcased their knowledge in a spirited quiz competition. We celebrated the winners and their commitment to environmental awareness and activism.
Although Climate 24 has come to a close, its impact continues to resonate. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, contributed, and supported this important initiative. Together, we're making strides towards a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
